Clean the swimming pool properly to ensure health and safety
Regular swimming pool cleaning is extremely important to ensure clear, safe water for users and prolong the life of the pool. Here are the basic swimming pool cleaning steps you can take:
1. Prepare tools and chemicals:
Trash net
Pool brush
Pool vacuum cleaner
Pool water treatment chemicals: chlorine, acid, alkaline, etc.
Gloves, masks, goggles
2. Cleaning trash in the lake:
Use a trash net to remove large objects such as leaves, branches, insects, etc. from the water surface.
Use a pool brush to scrub the sides and bottom of the pool, removing moss and stuck dirt.
Vacuum the bottom of the tank to remove mud, sand, and other debris deposited on the bottom.
3. Pool water treatment:
Check and balance chemical indicators in pool water such as pH, chlorine, alkalinity,... to ensure they are within the allowed threshold.
Add pool water treatment chemicals according to the instructions for use to kill bacteria, disinfect and clean the water.
4. Clean the water filtration system:
Rinse the pool water filter periodically to remove dirt and grime buildup.
Check and maintain pump and water pipeline systems to ensure effective operation.
5. Clean the area around the swimming pool:
Clean surfaces around the pool such as the pool walls, floors, and surrounding areas.
Trim trees around the pool to prevent leaves from falling into the water.
Note:
You should clean the pool periodically at least once a week, or more often if you use the pool a lot.
Use swimming pool water treatment chemicals according to instructions and prescribed dosage.
Wear gloves, masks, and goggles when using chemicals.
